Letters of Recommendation
Michelle Sell
Former Manager, TrueLook
I had the pleasure of working with Emma at TrueLook, and wholeheartedly recommend her. From the start, Emma impressed me with her dedication, professionalism, and ability to quickly get up to speed, including helping us launch four new products in her first six months. Her strong performance earned her a promotion to Product Marketing Manager after just a year, where she excelled at balancing the needs of cross-functional teams while keeping the customer experience front and center.
Emma consistently goes above and beyond. A standout example was when our product line shifted rapidly, and the sales team needed updated training. Emma took the initiative to design and deliver a full program: scheduling sessions, coordinating subject matter experts, building engaging quizzes, and even hosting many trainings herself. Her efforts had a measurable impact on how quickly and effectively the team adapted.
Emma is dependable, detail-oriented, and highly self-motivated. I could always count on her to deliver high-quality work on time, and she made a lasting impact on our team. Any organization would be lucky to have her.

Former Manager, EverTrue
I'm writing to recommend Emma Ransom, who worked as a product marketing contractor supporting a robust multi B2B SaaS portfolio from January until October. She was originally brought on to cover a three-month leave, and we extended the engagement well beyond that based on the quality of her work.
Emma stepped into a solo PMM role covering a complex portfolio facing dramatic change and was productive quickly, coming up to speed on the products, the market, and our in-flight work with very little runway. When requirements were unclear, she went directly to the right people — product managers, sales leadership, subject-matter experts — and asked precise questions until she had what she needed.
She kept multiple launches on schedule without escalation or dropped work, and took on substantial projects beyond the launch calendar: she revamped our sales decks, revamped and continuously updated our competitive intel hub, produced a set of product one-pagers, and built a customer story submission process from scratch. Within a few days of the competitive hub re-launching internally, we had teams actively leveraging the content in their conversations for the first time in over a year.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to deliver under real deadline pressure. Any team looking for a product marketer who can absorb a lot of context fast and operate independently would be well served by her.
